Door Hanger /Sign Painting Class

These are scheduled as group venues. Class sizes are limited and children are not allowed to attend unless it is a specific class for kids. This is due to space, liability and as a courtesy to all other participants.

Door Hanger

Class Length: 2 hours. Participants will paint various seasonal door hangers and all supplies are included in price. Occasionally there will also be special classes that include wine tastings in conjunction with the event. The larger classes will be conducted at one of two bars next door in the courtyard and those prices will vary to include beverages.

Furniture 101

Create a serving tray and learn basic paint techniques as well as how to correctly mount drawer pulls. Various options will cover various painting techniques that can be applied to painting any furniture or home cabinets. Classes times are approximate and you will leave with a serving tray that can be used as decor. You will be supplied with basic handles that may be new or repurposed from other projects. You are welcome to bring 2 drawer pulls of your choice if you desire something that match

Option 1 - Open Sample / Beginner Level

Class Length: 2 hours

Items Supplied: 1 repurposed cabinet door, 2 drawer pulls with hardware, Paint needed to cover the project from open SAMPLE jars (new jars will not be opened) tools for completing the project,

Description: Class includes painting 1 color options using open samples in class. You will also learn how to apply drawer pulls as handles.

Option 2 - New Jar / Beginner Level

Class Length: 2 hours

Items Supplied: 1 repurposed cabinet door, 2 drawer pulls with hardware tools for completing the project.

Description: You must purchase any materials before class begins. Once open, they are yours and anything left over from that jar is yours to take home. You will also learn how to apply drawer pulls as handles.

B.Y.O.P. - Bring Your Own Piece

Bring your own project, such as a nightstand, repurposed drawer, old window, small table, etc. The project must be carried in and out by the participant and must be able to fit on a wood spool that is 30" in diameter. Please bring an old, clean bath towel. It will be used to clean your project then help you protect it in the car on the way home.

Option 1 - Beginner Level

Class Length: 2-3 hours. You purchase any products neede at the shop before class begins and once open, take the remaining products home with you.

Items Participants Need To Bring:

1 project to paint such as a chair, small table, drawer, old window, etc... (It must be carried in and out by the participant and fit on a 30" spool.)
Old bath towels for cleaning and protecting your new creation for the trip home.
